Freedom to Love

-Poem-

The freedom to love

Oh how sweet it is

To know he’s mine and  I am his

This life we’ll live; this life will go

Oh what a blessing

The freedom to love is ours to know

In Her Eyes

-Based on a true story-

Walking through the park, we spotted a sqiurrel.

She said: Cat.

I said:  Squirrel.

She said: Cat.

I said: No, that’s not a cat. That’s a squirrel. Squirrrrrrrel !!!!!

She said: Ca… Ca….. Caaaaaat !!!!

In her eyes, EVERYTHING is either a cat or a dog.

We walked by a shop that had a Anubis statue in front of the entrance.

I didn’t see it at first.

She said:  Doggie, doggie, doggie.

I said: That’s not a d….oh wait a minute! I guess it is.

Boy,  things sure are confusing at my age !!! LOL

Ban Bullets [the poem]

-Poem-

Blood, sweat and tears

Tears, fears and guns

What are we going to do about this problem

Something has to be done

They are taking lives

Taking husbands from their wives

Children from their mothers

Sisters from their brothers

We can not continue acting like life is not to be respected

Our families depend on us it’s our responsibility to keep them protected

They say ban guns I say ban bullets

Without bullets

There is no power in the trigger when you pull it
